Riot police clashed with protesters in the streets of Hong Kong on Sunday (July 21).<br /><br />Footage shows police officers forcing a crowd of demonstrators into retreat.<br /><br />Protesters can be seen throwing rocks and other items towards police before officers respond by firing tear gas and rubber bullets.<br /><br />The violent clashes happened during a rally against a China extradition bill - now suspended but which protesters fear could be revived - which drew tens of thousands of protesters to the streets.
