The Seoul Metropolitan Government, for the first time, plans to designate a quarry used for constructing one of the Joseon Dynasty's royal tombs as part of the city's cultural heritage.<br />The quarry on Bukhansan mountain in the northern part of the city is the first such site to have its exact location known.<br />The engraved rocks at the site say the quarry was used to build a royal tomb in the 17th century and was off-limits to those without authorization.<br />
