Claiming sovereignty over South Korea's easternmost island, Dokdo, Japan says it launched its own military aircraft when the Russian aircraft trespassed over the East Sea near Dokdo Island.<br />Japan's Chief Cabinet Secretary Yoshihide Suga made the remark Tuesday,... but did not give details about the flight.<br />Suga reportedly said the Russian aircraft entered "Japanese territorial waters" and they cannot accept such actions.<br />To South Korea's response of firing warning shots, Suga said he regrets such a move and Japan warned Seoul's officials not to do it again.<br />To this, Seoul's foreign affairs ministry said Dokdo island is and has historically always been South Korea's territory, dismissing Japan's protest.<br />
