Dashcam footage captured the moment lightning struck in and around Birmingham in the early hours of Wednesday morning (July 24). <br /><br />An impressive light show was given to those who were still awake as the light storm travelled north through the country. <br /><br />The extreme weather came after intense heat blanketed the United Kingdom and Europe.
