The Umno Supreme Council has unanimously agreed to cooperate with PAS based on the principle of 'taawun siyasi' (political cooperation), said president Ahmad Zahid Hamidi.<br /><br />According to Ahmad Zahid, the two parties will issue a joint statement on the cooperation through their secretary-generals tomorrow.<br /><br />According to Zahid, the agreement will not 'open the door' to any party that has a relationship with DAP.
