Most of western Europe is baking under an intense heatwave... with Belgium recording its highest-ever temperature on Wednesday.<br />The mercury reached 39-point-9 degrees Celsius in the town of Kleine Brogel.<br />It's the highest temperature since 1833 when Belgium's weather agency started keeping records.<br />Belgium issued its first-ever "code red warning" for the entire country due to the heat.<br />The warning will remain in effect through Friday.<br />
