AG Barr Orders <br />Federal Death <br />Penalty to Be Reinstated Federal executions <br />have not been <br />conducted since 2003. William Barr, <br />Attorney General, via NBC News Following the order, <br />five men whose legal appeals <br />have been exhausted, were <br />scheduled to be executed. All five men <br />were convicted of <br />murdering children. They will be executed <br />by lethal injection of a <br />single drug in either <br />December or January. According to the <br />Justice Department, <br />more executions will follow. 60 inmates <br />presently sit on <br />federal death row.
