Raw Meat Recalled Due to Possible<br />Human Blood Contamination US Foods recently announced a recall for<br />approximately 712 pounds of raw pork and beef. The recall is due to the meat possibly<br />being contaminated with human blood. US Food discovered the possible contamination<br />when an employee notified them that they may have<br />cut themselves during the meat production process. The recall is for both fresh and frozen beef and pork<br />produced on July 18, that was shipped to restaurants<br />in Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi and Tennessee. The contaminated product has the establishment<br />number EST. 21103 inside its USDA mark of inspection. Individuals with the recalled pork and beef<br />are being urged to either throw away or return<br />the product to the place of purchase.
