South Korea's Foreign Minister will step up diplomacy in a bid to reverse Japan's export control measures when she attends the ASEAN Regional Forum in Thailand.<br />Kang Kyung-wha is said to have arranged meetings with eight foreign ministers on the sidelines of the South Korea-ASEAN foreign ministers' meeting in Bangkok from July 31st to August 3rd.<br />Kang will stress the importance of a free and fair trade environment and call for Japan to promptly retract its improper export curbs.<br />Kang has yet to set up a meeting with Japanese foreign minister Taro Kono.<br /><br />
