<br /> Reuters reports the United States may hit France with a new American tax on French wine.<br />President Donald Trump tweeted as much on Friday, after Paris announced a tax aimed at U.S. technology companies.<br />The US is the largest export market for French wine and spirits. After aerospace, liquor is France’s second-biggest export.<br />In 2018, the United States accounted for nearly a quarter of all French wine exports, or $3.6 billion worth. <br />
