Las Vegas residents were startled this week as massive swarms of grasshoppers descended upon the city.<br />The winged insects may outnumber the humans in some parts of town, but it's nothing to worry about.<br />CNN reports the pallid-winged grasshopper is a common desert species.<br />Nevada state entomologist Jeff Knight said after wet winters or springs, grasshoppers will migrate up from Arizona. <br />
