Thousands of mostly young demonstrators have been marching towards Hong Kong's Causeway Bay district.<br /><br />The theme of the protest is opposition to what they say is brutality by police, who have used tear gas and rubber bullets on protesters at past demonstrations.<br /><br />Some protesters also waved flags calling for independence for Hong Kong.<br /><br />The unauthorised demonstration seems to have attracted little police presence so far.
