Umno president Ahmad Zahid Hamidi has predicted that PKR president Anwar Ibrahim will not be the nation's next prime minister. <br /><br />In his speech to officiate the Parit Buntar Umno division meeting in Perak today, Zahid said this is because certain Harapan leaders have denied the existence of a two-year deadline set for Anwar to be made prime minister.<br /><br />Previously, Dr Mahathir pledged to hand the reins to Anwar, although no timeline has been set.<br /><br />Both have repeatedly been hounded over the transition plan since Pakatan Harapan unseated BN in May 2018.<br /><br />
