South Korea has returned three North Korean fishermen who had been questioned after crossing the inter-Korean maritime border on Saturday.<br />Seoul's unification ministry says it delivered its message to the North via the joint liaison office this morning... and the crew and the fishing boat have both departed.<br />Late Saturday, the boat crossed the Northern Limit Line and entered South Korean waters.<br />The South Korean military dispatched forces and towed the boat to a naval base.<br />The North Korean crew said the boat had suffered a "navigational error" and they didn't want to defect.<br />But there had to be a detailed probe... as the South Korean military suspected the boat could have belonged to the North Korean military.<br /><br />
