A 31-year-old Portuguese woman's Implanon NXT birth control implant was inserted into her upper arm.<br />But according to Business Insider, it moved and ended up in her left lung.<br />To remove the implant, doctors performed surgery. The woman didn't have any complications following the procedure.<br />This isn't the first time someone's birth control implant moved to a different area of their body.<br />Fortunately, the chances of this happening are still rare. <br />
