Chinese boy discovers dinosaur eggs on river bank in China's Heyuan

A nine-year-old boy named Zhang Yangzhe discovered fossilised dinosaur eggs dating back to the late Cretaceous Period (66 million years ago) in southern China. <br /><br />The video, filmed in Heyuan city in Guangdong province on July 23, shows a man from the local dinosaur museum uncovering 11 dinosaur egg fossils around the one spotted by Zhang.<br /><br />According to reports, Zhang and his mum went to play at a riverside near the Dongjiang bridge and when he was about to take a picture with the bridge, he found an eggshell.<br /><br />Since Zhang just visited the dinosaur museum and saw various dinosaur egg fossils, he spotted the dinosaur eggshell and informed the local museum.
