Good morning. Depending on where you are today, you'll need an umbrella or be well prepared for searing heat. Northern parts of Gyeonggi-do and Gangwon-do Provinces are seeing showers at the moment and rain clouds will gradually spread to the capital and Chungcheong-do Provinces during the day, dropping heavy rain. Southern regions will see passing showers for most of the day.<br /><br />Rain for the upper regions will bring some relief from the heat. A heat wave advisory has been lifted in Seoul and other rain-affected areas, but the rest of the country will be dealing with some intense heat. A heat wave warning remains in place for Daegu and parts of Gangwon-do and Gyeongsang-do Provinces.<br /><br />Gangneung had a super tropical night again as overnight lows were a sweltering 29.7 degrees Celsius. It's a sultry start to the day there, as you'd expect.<br /><br />Daily highs will range between 29 and 35 degrees Celsius.
