Residents of Leyburn town in North Yorkshire, England, were caught walking through floodwaters following heavy downpours.<br /><br />The rain wreaked havoc in the north of England, damaging properties and causing travel disruption in the area.<br /><br />North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service received more than one hundred calls to flooding in Leyburn and Reeth.<br /><br />Resident Andrew Hinds told Newsflare: ''Over a month's rainfall in one hour. <br /><br />''When will governments take meaningful action in response to the climate emergency.''<br /><br />More rain is expected in the next few days.
