Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad said Lynas Corp can keep rare earth processing waste from its Gebeng plant in Kuantan, Pahang if it can build and maintain a facility to dispose of its waste.<br /><br />The premier said that when asked if the government would allow the waste to remain in the country instead of an earlier requirement to ship it out.
