Mario Lopez Apologizes for Ignorant<br />Comments About Transgender Children.<br />After recently coming under fire for remarks<br />he made during an appearance on ‘The Candace<br />Owens Show,’ Lopez has issued an official apology.<br />The comments I made were ignorant<br />and insensitive, and I now have a deeper<br />understanding of how hurtful they were, Mario Lopez, via ‘People’ .<br />Lopez assured that he would use this to<br />“better educate” himself and be “more<br />informed and thoughtful” moving forward.<br />During the controversial interview, Lopez said it was<br />“dangerous” for parents to allow their three-year-olds<br />to make definitive choices about their gender.<br />I just think it’s dangerous as a parent to make<br />that determination then — ‘Okay, well then you’re<br />going to be a boy or a girl,’ whatever the case<br />may be.
