<br /> Lyft has yanked over a thousand electric bikes from rental availability in San Francisco.<br />Gizmodo reports the move comes after two e-bikes experienced battery fires in the past few days.<br />The estimated 1,000 bikes were listed as “unavailable to riders” on Wednesday afternoon.<br />San Francisco MTA sued Lyft for exclusive control of the city's bike-share business.<br />The MTA lost and, up until the recall, Lyft enjoyed a near monopoly throughout the city. <br />
