Emergency services were desperately evacuating people from Whaley Bridge, Derbyshire last night (August 1).<br /><br />Torrential downpours have damaged the wall of the local dam putting residents lives in danger according to authorities.<br /><br />Responders are risking their lives with only seconds to flee should the dam break.
