코스피 1%대 하락 출발…7개월만에 2,000선 붕괴<br /><br />South Korean stocks have now wiped out all their gains for the year.<br />The benchmark KOSPI closed today below the 2-thousand-point mark for the first time since the first days of January.<br />It fluctuated and looked like it might recover, but in the end closed down more than 9-tenths of a percent... at 19-98.<br />Foreign investors net sold more than 420 billion won worth of shares, but local institutions and individuals bought up more than 400 billion won worth themselves.<br />The secondary Kosdaq index was sharply lower as well.<br />It closed down more than 1 percent at 616.<br />The Korean won weakened sharply against the U.S. dollar, ending the day at 1-thousand-1-hundred-96 won to the greenback.<br />
