외교부, 주한 일본대사 초치 "日백색국가 제외 극히 유감... 日설명 설득력 없어"<br /><br />South Korea's First Vice Foreign Minister summoned the Japanese ambassador in Seoul this afternoon and expressed "deep regret" over the country's latest trade measure.<br />Cho Sei-young... asked that Tokyo withdraw its export curbs on three items otherwise, Seoul will take necessary countermeasures.<br />Yasumasa Nagamine... replied... that the move is part of a review of Japan's export controls, not a complete ban on outbound shipments to South Korea.<br />The ambassador pointed out there have been various problems between the two countries since last year, and called on Seoul instead to work to recover bilateral trust.<br />South Korea's vice minister, responded that Japan's explanations are inconsistent.<br />
