40 Games of Suspensions Handed Out for Reds-Pirates Brawl The benches-clearing fight between the Pittsburgh Pirates and Cincinnati Reds on Tuesday night has resulted in six players and both managers <br />receiving suspensions from MLB. Pirates pitcher Keone Kela received the longest suspension of 10 games. Kela threw a pitch near the head of Reds' Derek Dietrich, which started the brawl. In April, Dietrich admired a home run against Cincinnati, which also led to a benches-clearing incident. Pittsburgh's Jose Osuna was suspended five games, <br />Kyle Crick was banned three games and manager Clint Hurdle was given a two-game suspension. Cincinnati's Amir Garrett was suspended eight games,<br />Jared Hughes was banned three games and manager David Bell received <br />a six-game suspension. Yasiel Puig, who was traded to the Cleveland Indians <br />on Wednesday, received a three-game suspension. All six players have appealed the suspensions and can continue playing until their appeals are heard by MLB.
