PM: We’re still very much influenced by Western culture

Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad told audiences at a “Semarak Merdeka” townhall in Melaka on Saturday that many Malaysians have yet to liberate themselves from the Western influence and culture despite having enjoyed 62 years of independence.
