코스닥 6%대 급락 사이드카 발동…3년1개월여만에 처음<br /><br />Program trading on Korea's secondary stock index, the Kosdaq, was halted for five minutes this afternoon as shares plunged over the Japan trade tensions.<br />The Korea Exchange, which operates the Kosdaq, says the so-called "sidecar" measure was activated at 2-oh-9 PM when the index was down around 6 percent.<br />The measure is used to prevent wild fluctuations on the stock and futures markets.<br />Trading resumed, and the Kosdaq continued to fall, ending down more than 7-point-3 percent at just under 571 points.<br />That's a level not seen in more than 4 and a half years.<br />
