Beto O'Rourke Bashes Media for Response to El Paso Mass Shooting.<br />The 2020 candidate went off on reporters in newly released audio, saying they're failing to notice President Trump's connection to the incident.<br />O'Rourke, a Texas native, made the comments while at a vigil for victims of the shooting.<br />“What do you think? You know the sh-- he’s been saying. He’s been calling Mexican immigrants rapists and criminals. I don’t know, like, members of the press, what the f---?, Beto O'Rourke, <br />via Sky News.<br />He then continued to slam the media, saying they are not "connecting the dots" behind Trump's rhetoric and increasing gun violence in the U.S.<br />Up til this past January, <br />O'Rourke represented El Paso <br />in congress for six years.<br />According to authorities, 20 people were left dead in the mass shooting at a Walmart in the Texas city.<br />Authorities say they will pursue <br />"domestic terrorism" charges against <br />the suspected gunman, 21-year-old Patrick Crusius.
