A clash between protesters demonstrating against a convention of prison operators in town and a group of counter-protesters roiled Boylston Street (August 4) in Boston, Massachusetts. <br /><br />The March Against Cages protesters then chased the counter-protesters from the Boston Public Library to the Massachusetts Avenue T station. The two groups went nose-to-nose on several occasions, though no physical violence broke out, aside from a hat being knocked off someone’s head.<br /><br />During the peaceful protest, protestors shouted "close the camps" to speak out against what event organizers are calling human rights violations at ICE detention facilities.
