A fiery debate is underway at the National Assembly's House Steering committee... with rival lawmakers grilling President Moon Jae-in's top advisors over Japan's trade curbs.<br />The ruling party is demanding stern countermeasures,... stressing that Tokyo will be responsible for any potential repercussions from here on.<br />Opposition parties are attacking the government for what they claim to be its "inability" to deal with diplomatic and economic crises.<br />Lawmakers are also quizzing the top office on the possibility of scrapping a military intel-sharing pact with Japan to which they said it was under consideration but nothing has been decided.<br />The presidential office also said it's preparing for all possible scenarios and devising measures to minimize the potential fallout.<br />
