Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail on Tuesday said Malaysia’s over-reliance on imports is one of the reasons that contributed to the hike in prices of food items.<br /><br />Saifuddin said this in his speech at the launch of the Malaysia Competition Commission's (MyCC) report titled Market Review on Food Sector under the Competition Act 2010.
