Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) chief commissioner Latheefa Koya on Tuesday clarified again the definitions on whistleblowing, and explained on who qualifies for immunity and protection under the law.<br /><br />Latheefa also said the agency has found some legal loopholes in the existing Whistleblower Protection Act 2010 in which she will recommend to lawmakers to tighten up.<br /><br />The chief commissioner also gave an assurance that anyone seeking the MACC’s protection will receive immunity if their cases were legit.
