RAF Chinook helicopters continue to fly in emergency sandbags as the effort to reinforce a damaged dam in Whaley Bridge.<br /><br />Filmed today (August 6), the footage shows a large helicopter flying over the town in Derbyshire.<br /><br />The dam wall at Toddbrook Reservoir partially collapsed on Thursday (August 1) afternoon following heavy downpours in the area. <br /><br />About 1,500 residents have been evacuated from Whaley Bridge as it is feared the dam could collapse and flood the town.
