Reuters reports that Sarah Palin can pursue her defamation claims against the NY Times.<br />A federal appeals court revived her defamation lawsuit against the publication.<br />Palin sued over an editorial that she said maliciously linked her to a 2011 mass shooting.<br />Representative Gabrielle Giffords was wounded in the 2011 shooting.<br />Lawyers for Palin did not immediately respond to requests for comment.<br />The case is Palin v New York Times Co, 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, No. 17-3801.
