Minnesota's Hennepin County has announced R. Kelly is being charged with soliciting a minor for sex.<br />Newser reports Kelly gave a girl under the age of 18 his number when she asked for his autograph.<br />The exchange happened during a July 2001 promotional event in downtown Minneapolis.<br />When she called him, she was told to go to a hotel and a member of Kelly's staff took her to the singer's suite.<br />"After some discussion she was offered $200 to take off her clothes and dance for him." Hennepin County Attorney<br />The girl was also given VIP seating and Kelly discussed her visiting him in Chicago, but that never happened.<br />In addition to this, Kelly faces multiple federal counts in Illinois and New York, plus 10 charges in Illinois.
