"올해 7월 아마존 열대우림 파괴 면적 작년보다 278% 늘어"<br /><br />Brazil's National Institute for Space Research says deforestation in Brazil increased by almost 300 percent last month compared to the previous year.<br />Around 32-hundred square kilometers of the Amazon rainforest was destroyed in July - an area five times bigger than Seoul.<br />It's also an eighty-eight percent increase from the deforestation of the previous month.<br />Brazil's president Jair Bolsonaro claims the research is inaccurate and damaging to Brazil's image.<br />
