일본서 긁은 카드 금액 7월 중하순부터 감소…"불매운동 영향"<br /><br />South Korean's credit card spending in Japan tumbled during mid-to-late July amid the escalating Japan boycott movement. <br />According to a report released on Thursday, Korean credit card spending in Japan amounted to roughly 82 million U.S. dollars last month, up 1-point-1 percent from the same month last year. <br />But there was a big drop in credit card spending in the second half of the month, falling 5-point-3 percent on-year in the fourth week, and plummeting 19-point-1 percent in the fifth week of July.<br />The report used data showing Korean credit card usage in Japan. <br />Industry watchers say the boycott of Japanese products and travel is the reason for the decline. <br />
