이제민 국민경제자문회의 부의장 "한국이 일본 추월하자 견제위해 수출규제"<br /><br />At the national economic meeting,... vice chair Lee Jay-min said Japan's export curbs are an attempt to rein in the South Korean economy and take away all the progress it's made.<br />The vice chair said the restoration of Seoul and Tokyo bilateral ties in 1965 partially helped the economy grow, but Japan wants to keep the old vertical relationship.<br />South Korea, he said, has started to overtake Japan in many industries under the free trade system,... something the Abe administration doesn't want to continue.<br />He also pointed out ways that political issues go beyond Japan, noting that Korea's trade depends heavily on China and its defense on the United States.<br />
