A funnel cloud weather phenomenon occurred over the skies of Riverview, Florida on Monday (August 5).<br /><br />The spout was said to have been close to neighbouring Gibsonton for close to five minutes.<br /><br />Funnel clouds are rotating funnel-shaped clouds that form the core of a tornado or waterspout.<br /><br />The filmer commented: "[A] landspout in front of a small cell this afternoon in Riverview. <br /><br />"[It] lasted about 5 minutes and may have briefly touched down."
