Nearly 700 People Arrested in
Massive Mississippi ICE Raids A series of ICE raids at seven Mississippi
food processing plants has left numerous
children separated from their parents. According to WJTV reporter Alex Love,
the children had to be taken in by neighbors
and strangers as they had nowhere to go. Alex Love, via Twitter Approximately 680 undocumented immigrants
were apprehended during the raids. It is possibly the largest worksite
enforcement operation to ever
take place in a single state. According to ICE, those arrested will be either
be prosecuted for crimes, deported immediately
or required to go before an immigration judge. Bryan Cox, ICE Spokesperson, via Huffpost
