It's shaping up to be a steamy Friday with heat wave alerts in place across much of the country, drink plenty of water and avoid outdoor activities especially in regions under heat wave warnings. <br />Daily highs will be 33 to 36 degrees Celsius this afternoon. Seoul, Daegu and Daejeon at 35 degrees, Gyeongju reaching 36 degrees.<br />You may want to keep an umbrella nearby again. Central regions and southern inland regions could see passing showers with scattered thunderstorms. <br />Steamy heat will dominate the forecast this weekend. Tomorrow could be the hottest day of the season in Seoul.
