A petition started by a junior Walmart worker in California protests the retailer’s sale of firearms.<br />This is after three mass shootings over the weekend left 38 people dead in Texas, Ohio, and Illinois.<br />Reuters reports that the petition has gathered more than 45,000 signatures.<br />Thomas Marshall, the 23-year-old category manager in San Bruno, began his protest via email.<br />He asked his fellow employees to call in sick on Tuesday, leave work early the next day, and sign a petition.
