Climate change activist group Extinction Rebellion have blocked a busy road in London in protest of proposed plans to build a tunnel in Greenwich.<br /><br />Activists blockaded a Blackwall Tunnel slip road off the A102 on August 9 with a banner reading "the air that we grieve".<br /><br />The demonstration is in protest of the proposed Silvertown Tunnel, which would connect the Greenwich Peninsula and west Silvertown, and intends to relieve congestion through the Blackwall Tunnel.
