北 한미훈련•무기도입 진상공개장에 통일부 "군사공동위 조속 가동해야"<br /><br />Seoul called on Pyeongyang to begin operating the inter-Korean military committee as soon as possible.<br />At a press briefing earlier today, the nation's unification ministry said the joint body, agreed to be formed at the September inter-Korean summit, should start running quickly to build bilateral military confidence.<br />This comes after the regime's reunification committee issued an official statement on Thursday for the first time in three months slamming South Korea for raising tensions on the Peninsula.<br />It blamed the nation for conducting joint exercises with the U.S. which the North perceives as "aggressive war rehearsals", and for adopting high-tech weapons despite their agreement to lower tensions.<br />
