Good morning. It's a rainy start to the day for western regions. Due to the indirect effect of Typhoon Lekima, moderate to heavy showers are falling in western parts of the country. <br /><br /> Five to 40 millimeters are expected for most western regions. Jeju and southern provinces will see showers last into the afternoon, up north will see rain until early Tuesday.<br /><br /> Meanwhile, heat wave alerts remain in place for many regions. It was one steamy weekend and heat wave warnings are still in effect for Daegu, Gyeongsangbuk-do and Chungcheongbuk-do Provinces. <br /><br /> It will be a windy and rainy start to the morning for western regions but overnight lows were above 25 degrees Celsius in many regions yet again. <br /><br /> Daily highs will be 31 to 35 degrees Celsius this afternoon.
