Reuters reports Germany is planning to ban the use of plastic bags.<br />That's because voluntary agreements with retailers to curb usage haven't produced good enough results.<br />Environment Minister Svenja Schulze said on Sunday the goal was 'to get out of the throw-away society.'<br />My ministry will get a plastic bag ban on its way.
