North Korea has promoted scientists who researched and developed the regime's purported new weapons system.<br />According to Pyeongyang's Korean Central News Agency, the North's leader Kim Jong-un made an order to elevate the ranks of 103 researchers who contributed to strengthening the regime's self-defense capability.<br />The agency says North Korea has completed a powerful new weapon system.<br />The North has recently showed the world its latest weapons development, test-firing five projectiles between late July and early August.<br /><br />
