국방부 “한미 상호공수지원협정 지난달 연장”<br /><br />Seoul and Washington renewed an deal that allows the use of private aircraft, namely Korean Air's fleet, to readily transport troops and military equipment in or near the peninsula.<br />The defense ministry confirmed Tuesday... the two sides extended their 2004 Mutual Airlift Support Agreement last month.<br />The pact has been renewed every five years.<br />Without disclosing further details... the ministry said there were no changes to the agreement from the latest version... and that the renewal was proceeded by exchanging written memoranda.<br />
