People from eastern China's Qingdao city collected oysters that have been blown onto the beach by typhoon Lekima on August 12.<br /><br />In the video, a large number of people used tools to pick the oysters, sea snails and clams piled on the beach. <br /><br />They can be seen using the rakes to break the oysters before putting them into plastic buckets.<br /><br />A woman named Xu said she went to collect the oysters from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm without having lunch.<br /><br />According to an employee from the Marine Development Authority, the wild oysters which are hard to find are larger and taste better.
