Residents of Gothanpur village in western India rescued a horse that had fallen into a gutter while grazing.<br /><br />The horse was walking on a footpath when it slipped into a gap and fell in the gutter.<br /><br />A group of locals rushed to the spot upon hearing the screams of the animal coming from the gutter.<br /><br />They tried to pull the animal out but failed in the attempt and called on an excavator for assistance.<br /><br />Footage shows the excavator demolishing a part of the footpath to allow the horse to jump out.<br /><br />Finally, residents managed to pull out the animal from the gutter after an hour.<br /><br />The horse did not sustain any injuries, reports said.<br /><br />Locals said that they have made several complaints to the Palghar Municipal Council to fix the gap in the footpath.<br /><br />This incident took place on August 13.
